Speaking of latest game development...I noticed that there wasn't a news update at BioWare on the development of NeverWinter Nights for Linux...they usually have been good at keeping us informed every week (every Friday). I wonder if this is a sign that they are preparing for some big news update (hopefully a beta or even better a full release) or if it just means their web maintainer is slacking off as well....

into one web page.

That way the 'happypenguin' (similar to freshmeat) side of Linuxgames and Happypenguin can announce the games and have the Linux game DB. Then the Linuxgames part can have the forums and the news.

I guess then you have control conflicts, but these two web pages have a lot of overlap and I bet a lot of the people that look at each page look at both pages. It would also be a way to reduce the stagnation of each site.

Something to think about anyway -- if both sides haven't already thought about it.

Also, if you did combine it all, you could have a Linux Game Developer section where you have news about development such as new libraries and under the forums you could have the development forums.

Maybe you could also have a Super PET game section?

Why stop in summarizing the news as this?

It sounds like a sight re-design needs to commence.

Why comment in only one area when you can offer the same as before, yet more compactly proposed? For example, this forum *could* look like the following...

(*LATEST NEWS!) Attal 0.6.2: (*active/*stale) discussion, changelog, screenshots, download
FreeCraft2 030210: (active/stale) discussion, changelog, screenshots, download
GCompris 2.1: (active/stale) discussion, changelog, screenshots, download
KOTH 0.8.0: (active/stale) discussion, screenshots, download
Kulic : (active/stale) discussion, screenshot, download
Mojotron 0.9995: (active/stale) discussion, changelog, download
Qmamecat 0.44.b45: (active/stale) discussion, changelog, screenshots, download
QUB 0.7.1: (active/stale) discussion, changelog, screenshots, download
