ALSA seems to be the best so the others should just go ;-) If not ALSA, then arts might be a good option (for all the apps to use). Arts also seems to run well.


I asked 4front about adding the ALSA api to their drivers but it seems they do not have any plans to do it. It seems unclear why. I believe the OSS api has several limits.]]></description>
