    If they planned a Linux release, why didn’t they develop this with cross-platform
    capabilities in mind?

    Id and Epic don’t seem to have a problem with this.

    I just want to get my hands on the game already. I bought it when it was new, even hoping that the binaries might be included. I’m not a heavy gamer so I don’t mind that much but it would still be nice to finally get to try it at least…

    Yes the wait is irritating but it’ll be worth it in the end. I already bought the Windows version and played it a little, but I’m sure we’ll all be happy when it’s finished. Don’t forget that I expect some *nix programmer(s) have been employed to see this project through. I hope though that after it’s completion they won’t be put off from doing another one by our constant moaning :s

    P.S. Can I change my sig yet?
