And what about the game client?

    Sincerely,

    The Client Troll

  2. Says:

if they don’t ship a damn client. That is all.

  3. ZlatkO Says:

… as soon as the client is available, too, so that I can actually play the game. Certain game companies seem to ignore the simple fact that the whole point of a game is to – GASP! – play it, and not to run a server for others to play on.

Dedicated server != Linux support. Go have a look at id and Epic if you want to see how it’s done right.

  4. XWRed1 Says:

This game is really popular among my friends, I can’t wait to go to lan parties and run dedicated servers for them!

  5. Says:

this is utter stupidity to think linux gets what..only a server and no client?..this makes me want to run out and buy this game ‘just’ to run a server for someone else to play a client ?..this is intelligent to whom ? …and no supposed ? plans ‘for’ a linux client? but lets get out the word for a linux server!..sure man put your face in this..
