Just been to the website, it looks pretty cool
except (yup! first moan) another adventure game.
Can anyone possable port a different type of game?
Racing Game or something rather than adventure Games or FPS’s
I’m still gonna buy it anyway :)

My friend told me about Disciples 2 a while ago. He said it had become his new addiction. Apparently it’s similar to HOMM3… (hmm… still haven’t played my copy much :/)
This might just be something I want to buy :)

I managed to guess the title, within about 12 hours of the contest being announced, so did someone beat me to the punch? :)

I was on edge for the last two weeks, and I can finally put my mind at ease!
And you all said that we couldn’t get AAA titles!

Sometimes, when I’m alone at night, I cry because I know HOMM4 won’t be coming to Linux. But now I need cry no longer, because my hunger for MORE HOMM-LIKE GAMEPLAY can be satisfied by Disciples.
Thank you, LGP.

what grades has this game got in the pc-press? is it a good game?

I’ve been asking this compagnie for linux suport
few month ago. they told me that disiple2 will
be ported. but i was actualy expecting a newer
title.
ORB for exemple. that game look awensome. a linux port will bring a nice RTS game to linux.
Please Strategy First make somme one to port new
game too!

Will there be an alpha version? I for one would love an alpha version bundled on the cd but if the economic overhead would be 2 much i would even be willing to purchase the alpha binaries (distributed like the alpha version of smac for instance and payed for like a similar fashion to the mindrover patch)

i heard it’s like homm3, one of my favourite games all time… thanks!

too bad they aren’t porting Europa Universalis. I’d buy that game in a heart beat.
But a HOMM/AoW like game is nice too, and this seems to be MUCH better than Majesty which I will never buy.

Port more First Person Shooters. Linux lacks FPS games.

I was thinking about purchasing this game for Windows but will vastly prefer playing it under Linux.

I want to go on record for being the first to call it Disciples 2: “DP”. ;)
I can’t wait for this game.

For the love of God will somebody port a good
genre?! Most people note all the FPS’s ported to
linux but not the strategy. Besides FPS’s Loki also
ported a lot of strategy games. I bought Heroes
of Might and Magic to support Loki but I am NEVER
wasting my money on a strategy game again!
There are too many on Linux already!
The only adventure game that runs natively on
Linux is Hopkins FBI(which is hard to get)!
When are we going to see some adventures and RPGs
for Linux? And I mean good RPGs, not hack-n-slash(Diablo), or dungeon crawlers(Wizardry and Eye of the Beholder).

Hello msimms,
I sent you reply to your eMail quite a while ago (month maybe) and I never received an answer. Do you still need the Alpha hardware for porting software to Alpha Linux? It leads to well-planned codepath to Linux/Itanium and Linux/Hammer. Still in hopes.
Sincerily,
