Laser Squad Nemesis Port In Development

November 27th, 2002 by michael

Abilio Carvalho wrote in to point out that Codo Technologies has announced the development of a Linux port of Laser Squad Nemesis. Codo has stated that the port will be handled by a third-party. I was able to reach Michael Simms who stated that it is not LGP, so it will be interesting to see who is handling the port.

This looked like a nifty little game when they first announced a linux port might happen.

I don’t know… email games would be slow, no?

If it’s half as fun as it looks, I think I might give it a shot.[br][br]
I just hope that it doesn’t magically warp time like X-COM did back in the day (bet you didn’t know that the i386 and onward had a Time Dilation Unit did you?). I swear, one particular bad day, I said I’d “just find that one last alien” I looked up and 5 hours went by.[br][br]
AH! It would appear that the game was created by the people who made XCOM. Well, there goes any chances of me getting my degree anytime soon.[br][br]
