Now I can finally pla… oh, watch Command & Conquer Rengade, weee watching the server chat and who killed who!
Going back to UT2003/RtCW where I can PLAY!!!
Well atleast a server is a start, just things like this tell people “Linux is a server OS, it can’t handle the desktop it seems!”
Oh wait, I might be able to play natively in linux with WINEX!!! (Joke)

1. Release game and server on Win32 only
2. Don’t plan on Linux port
2. ??
3. Profit
4. Let bugs go non-fixed
5. ??
6. Profit more
7. Gamers move on
8. ??
9. Deny bugs exist
10. Release closed-source Linux server
11. ??
12. WTF
Did we see a pattern here? Just to let you CC-dev(s) know, bugs don’t get fixed unless you release the CODE.

Probably the most amusing thing of this is “Well, the server is a start…”
That’s hilarious ! That’s like taking just a keyboard and saying it’s a successful computer because, “well, it’s a start.” Or a car.. without the engine. “Well, it’s a start.” A start to WHAT? How many servers do we have for games? NWN, C&C, B:net (though, it’s not legal), etc.. and how many servers really were “a start” to completely having the game? Zero. None. None of the games where a server “is a start” have produced a client. (Save id games, but Id always has made it clear where linux stands and has released client binaries.)
So.. “a start”.. or “the end?”
