is there any other “eye of the beholder” clone’s for linux, that is playable?

Ultima Underworlds were never Eye of the Beholder clones. I lived and played through that era of gaming. UU was 3D and EotB was nothing more than look/move NESW with sprite scaling to give an impression of fluid movement. Still it was clever at the time :)

You can play EOB and EOB II under Linux in dosbox sourceforge.net/projects/dosbox. You could play Ultima Underworld with dosbox, too.
