Glaxium 0.5

Version 0.5 of Glaxium has been released for the general public enjoyment. New features and changes with this release include the following:

New weapon that can destroy volcanos (from powerUP level 4)
New models (missile and diamond which is now a capsule)
Capsules of invulnerability available
New 3D special effects (invulnerabilty, power up)
Number of mixing audio channels set to 22 (no more sound overload)
level of details modifiable and configuration saved
New board
Tanks bug fixed… Now they really attack.

    as soon as you copy the glext.h file from the sgi website compiling is a snap and this game is freakin’ cool!!!!

    hello this is what I get after I enter glaxium.
    Goes to a black screen like it is going to start then I get this

    Depth buffer depth : 16
    No stencil buffer, no shadows. Try 32bits mode.
    Found textures in /usr/share/games/glaxium
    Number of texture units : 2
    Cannot load dot3 extension neither NVidia neither ARB.
    Fall back to basic openGL. The floor will be very simple.
    NO anisotropy texture…
    Couldn’t open audio: No available audio device

    what do I do to correct this so I can play this game. Oh yeah I am running red hat 8.0 and installed the rpm that is on the glaxium site.
