Version 20020710 of the free Windows implementation Wine has been released; changes include:

  • DirectSound 8 and DirectInput 8 support
  • OLE improvements
  • support for font downloading in Postscript driver
  • ALSA sound driver
  • portability fixes
  • bug fixes

    Well, whether I like Wine or not, it’s here. Since it’s doesn’t seem to be going away, I’m sure glad they finally made an ALSA driver.
