Version 0.1.5 of the NES emulator FakeNES (screenshots: 1 | 2) has been released; changes include:

fixed a serious masking bug in PRG banking
added support for ROM trainers
video output changes
ability to implement combined filters added
basic scanlines filter added

witch is the best nes and gameboy emulator for linux? I dont have time to acctually test them my self

with Wine and WineX for running the windows versions of these emus…most of the time having to go through the DirectSound layer breaks up the sound. Not pretty. Go native instead! As far as the 7800 emu, the best one I use IMO works in MS-DOS.
