It finally fixed the procedural texture bug which made switches, blinking buttons, and doors to have whacked out textures. I've had this problem ever since I switched to the GeForce2MX card. Not no more, man.
[br]It was an easy compile, and I was able to follow the instructions to make the rogue and xatrix extensions too. It runs faster already than it ever did. I seem to be getting about 100 fps with the sdlquake2 binary. Mouse wheel support is a nice touch too.
[br]No more q2hack! I should have tried io's Quake2 a long time ago, but this is really sweet! Recommended for any Debian Woody system. Compiled with no problems.
