Is there anything I can do to get this to work with the old GNU/Linux version of Quake 2 that was published by MacMillan? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

It finally fixed the procedural texture bug which made switches, blinking buttons, and doors to have whacked out textures. I’ve had this problem ever since I switched to the GeForce2MX card. Not no more, man.
[br]It was an easy compile, and I was able to follow the instructions to make the rogue and xatrix extensions too. It runs faster already than it ever did. I seem to be getting about 100 fps with the sdlquake2 binary. Mouse wheel support is a nice touch too.
[br]No more q2hack! I should have tried io’s Quake2 a long time ago, but this is really sweet! Recommended for any Debian Woody system. Compiled with no problems.
