Dumb question alert!

Whenever I try to download a *.run file indirectly (ie. click button to start download) using either mozilla or opera - the browser window opens with the text contents of the file. Do I need to edit a mime-type or something?!

Will Tux Games be updating their copies of the game to include these in the box, or will I have to download these seperately when I buy my copy from them? (I know it's been out a while. I haven't bought a copy yet. I'll probably combine my order with a purchase of Neverwinter Nights once the Linux binaries are available.)
