[I may be saying something wrong here, as babel didn't have too much luck with it, but from what I can gather...]
That thing with it being really bright; can someone who had that problem and turned it down please send me their config file with correct brightness settings? I built the installer using the UT default GL ini file, but it appears to be too bright in UnrealI.
You don’t need to xhost + or anything; if you need to su to root or whatever, IIRC, you can just do a console-based setup which is pretty much the same… just doesn’t have the pretty picture.
Personally, my mortal owns /usr/local/games/, so I never have these problems…
Oh, yeah; babel did /really/ badly, but is the comment that you should “Read the readme if anything goes wrong”? Surely you should just flick through the readme while it’s installing, or is that merely me?
