This problem appeared after I synced my Debian with the latest “Woody” testing. I use kernel 2.4.17 right now. Initially it worked, but then it stopped. Not sure why. Recompiling made no difference it always crashed (in wolfsp) when the progress bar was about at 95% before loading a level. This was a hard crash requiring a poweroff (ugh!). Reverting to the 22313 drivers magically fixed the situation.

Why? Got me… I’m just reporting what I experienced.
