February 18th, 2002 by AlkiniSince the disputes between the Neverwinter Nights developer (BioWare) and former publisher (Interplay) were resolved, there has been some miscellaneous news related to the upcoming AD&D-based RPG:
First-off, the new NWN publisher, Infogrames, issued an official press release regarding the partnership.
Secondly, a number of sites have published interviews with people related to the NWN project:
- HomeLan interviewed BioWare joint CEO Greg Zeschuk
- Gaming Groove interviewed Greg Zeschuk & Trent Oster
- GameBanshee interviewed Greg Zeschuk
- IGNinterviewed Greg Zeschuk and Ray Muzyka, the other joint CEO
- ALFA posted an IRC log of a Q&A session with the NWN folks

I know, no news is good news… But I can’t help but wonder if one of the things to bite it in the publisher change is the linux port.
I haven’t been this excited about a game since UO… And that experience taught me to expect disappointment, so here I am today, worrying.

It’s on – the client and server is both coming to Linux, and in the same box as the Windows and Mac versions.
