aaquake2 – Text Mode Quake II

With the release of the Quake II source code under GPL, we are now gifted with aaquake2, which allows you to play Quake II in a completely text-based way using AA-lib. Thanks to Jacek Fedorynski for the heads up.

    Okay, aa-quake1 was cute and a nice joke.

    But that was a couple of years ago. It’s not funny any more.

    The SDL port, one article below, would achieve the same affect with the aalib driver.

    Doesn’t aalib support gpm? svgalib supports gpm, I think. Why not aalib?

    And no I won’t code it myself if I
    think I’m a better hacker.
