Ive delayed buying this so i can get it off tuxgames and become a "tally" for iD. As soon at this binary is released im getting it! - Just in time for my ADSL installation :-) oh and on another note - If Tuxgames is based in England then why are the prices in US dollars? is it because the U.S are the main suppliers or buyers? just curious thats all!
Long live the penguin!

The RtCW Linux FAQ has been updated 2001.12.25 multiplayer client 1.1-MP. It also has a link to a FAQ for a Linux demo version. Problem is I can't find the file to download, the ftp server still has 1.0.b2 release. Anyone know where it can be found or is it a matter of waiting till after the holiday??

Except for some strange graphical glitches (that I'm sure not everyone will see or even care about) the SP binary plays quite well on a Radeon 64Mb DDR card using the default XFree86/DRI drivers that Red Hat 7.2 installs. I'm running at 800x600@32 with almost all the whiz-bang features turned on and it is quite smooth. I put it up to 1024x768 and it was also smooth, but now I'm on vacation and can't do more extensive testing.

Like I said...if anyone cares (i.e. isn't running an NVIDIA card. ;^)
