Sounds interesting, and promising, especially that the games are not of the FPS type.

However, I'm unsure of how to interpret this:

"and we are also very much interested in helping open source groups get their games into stores"

I surely do not hope that it would mean taking free, open games and a) makes the game closed, b) inject money to the developers and finally c) release it and the developers + publishers make money.

Has there been any ideas stated about when these games are actually going to be published? Are these games that they've been working on and are somewhat near completion? Or are these games that they are about to start with many months of waiting in store?

Who wants to be a millionaire could easily be on that list. It really isn't a AAA rated game, but it got a few GOTY titles because of the number of sales it generated. It also isn't first person, and isn't all that old.

Since the Transgaming/Mandrake deal, The Sims is probably out, but you never know since they are not using a full native port. Then again, some may consider it a AAA game because it was innovative in some ways.

My other thought is one of the Rainbow Six titles, which is more strategy than first person.

What would qualify something as AAA?
Sales, ratings, or what? Like some of the other people, I would of thought GOTY=AAA.

I know, XA is already a couple of years old, but it is still one of my favourites.
Add OpenGL support, maybe hires textures and better multiplayer maps (for more than just four players), and this would be a great title.

I don't think any of the recent versions have won Game of the Year awards, but it would be a fun one to have. It would probably be a fairly trivial port as well.
