September 27th, 2001 by CrusaderVersion 24834 of Tribes 2 has beenreleased by Loki Software (thanksto Loki’s joshua and tarquin for the heads up); the massivechangelog can be found here(the majority being gameplay/scoring changes introduced by Dynamix before the dev studio wasterminated by Sierra). If you encounter any issues with this patch,please report them via Fenris. You can updateyour copy with Loki Update (which should run when youstart Tribes 2 anyway), or manually:

Hi! I have just bought tribes .. and I need to upgrade. Can I download the latest or do I have to get them all?

I try to run but Tribes 2 do not start. Why? What is wrong?
I thought Linux is 1000000x better than Windows? Maybe I am
wrong though. Also I did not buy game from store, I just download
tribes2-24834-cdrom-x86.run and run it.

If you just installed the game for the first time, do you have to apply all the patches starting with tribes2-22002-x86.run from March, or just the latest patch, tribes2-24834-x86.run?

After installing the update, my tribes icon.xpm disappeared, wtf? Anyone else have this problem?

Is anyone else having *more* problems since this patch was released? Tribes 2 used to run just fine for me, but since applying this “patch” I’m getting all kinds of screwy problem…*sigh*, I want to go back to the old version…
