Hey, this just in out of reading the FAQ. The PLDK requires a whole 8MB PS2 memory card. Why? because this is where it stores the Kernel. Apparently, the Dev Kit CD after installing will load the kernel from the memory card, and use that to boot. I’d think that’d make it easy to switch to a backup kernel, don’t you? Just swap the kernel memcard.

I have seen that the X Window on the screenshot is in English. So the problem would only to get the japanese version of the PS2. Or are there other things I did not take into account ?.
