but I did get my copy of Tribes 2 from Tuxgames… Why do I have to wait 2 more weeks after Loki ship the game for me play it? This suck big time man! I hate waiting this long more then anything. I figure my game haven’t been send off and I figure if I don’t get any good news back soon I’ll cancel my order. I know that I’ll be getting my game sometime next week…

Well, I got MY copy of Tribes2 from TuxGames yesterday…
Now, if only the damned thing was playable on my aging,
crappy system! *whimper* ;-)

Well, I haven’t installed all the patches yet, either…
Hopefully, those will help things… Though, the fact that
the readme lists XFree86 4.0.2 as the minimum, and only
Nvidia cards as officially supported, does NOT inspire much
confidence… ;-) (I’ve got a Voodoo3, and running on
X 3.3.6…) I really need a new machine… ;-)

Just have to say that Tux Games rocks. :) I got my T2/SMAC bundle and they work flawlessly. Except for some strange problem during the SMAC install that decided to turn my system to read-only. Annoying, but not show stopping.
I really hope that the game companies continue their use of DVD shells instead of full boxes, too. It not only cuts down on packaging, but it’s a lot friendlier to the environment. Hmm. Green Tux? :)

I’m not sure that it’s a Loki vs. World sort of thing — more of a “Come one, come all you Linux players!” while on a radio show and IRC channel.
