I ordered t2 from tuxgames ages ago.. and ofcourse i havent got it yet (i live in aus).. but am eagaly awaiting recieving it..
but, in the mean time.. i have installed a freinds (from the us) version (for a lan).,. and let me tell you THE GAME ROX.. it was a brease to install, just shove the cd in, run the script, it installs and downloads all the updates.. i get a fairly respectable FPS on my geforce 2 gts, and sound is good…
i love the game, and cant wait to recieve my copy so i can play on the net, etc..
so, if you are still undecided about buying it.. BUY IT ! :-)

Tribes 2 just came this morning, can’t wait to go home after work an install it! Hope everyone recieves their copy today!

… Tribes 2 for Linux just arrived, and it OWNS. I’ve got an Athlon 650, GeForce 2 MX, 448MB of RAM, and the game runs mighty sweet. I had to turn the viewing distance down a bit for the larger maps, which can cause some frame droppage. But other than that, everything runs smooth as silk. Get this game if you haven’t already. :)
