Stephan Uhlmann wrote in to announce version 1.0beta2 Kmud. Changes and or fixes for this release include:

  • added enable/disble all triggers/aliases via accelarator key
  • various bugfixes (that’s what we want to concentrate during the beta phase) (e.g. in automapper, wordwrapping, colortriggers and ANSI handling (underline)

This is the best MUD client I have ever used — comparing
both Windows and Linux. GMud, in my opinion, is horrible.
The only other Linux MUD client that is just as good, but
in a some ways better, is MCL. It has PERL and Python
bindings :) However, it runs in the console only…no GUI.
I’m not sure about the newest KMud but I couldn’t get it
to compile with KDE2.1. So I just use the binary.
