The Arkanaeteam wrote in to announce that they have released version 0.3 of their GPL’d 3DJava-based RPG (screenshots).Changes include: - more levels
- a sound system
- alignment management
- new monsters
- dialogs

That’s the best looking Java-game I’ve seen so far – makes me regret I started out developing my own game in C++ (I’ve gotten a little bit too far in development now to switch …). Java is a lot more pleasant for the developer in that you get away from a lot of mess with pointers etc. Well, maybe next time …
