Jeff Freedman has released version 0.40of the SDL-based Ultima 7 game engine Exult. Changes include:

• fully-implemented introduction screen and menu
• much improved music
• initial support for ships, carts, and the flying carpet
• many improvements to the plot engine and game mechanics
• new keyboard shortcuts and cheats (for testing)
