James Snyder wrote in to point outthat Bungie’s Marathon Open Sourcepage announced that a Linux port of Marathon 2 / Aleph One has been released by Christian Bauer. The port is based on the original source that Bungie released over half a year ago. Currently the port utilizes SDL but only runs in softwarerendering mode.
