Just wanted to make a comment on the Nvidia
drivers. Although the wait has been some time,
the performance from the drivers are up to par.

Hmmm, its nice to see the community attempting to fix the problems and buglets in nvidias drivers. It would be so much easier if they were open source.

Sort it out Nvidia.

I've hear lots of stories about how it is agreements with other companies which stop them opening the source. Originally I assumed it was SGI, but they've opened the OpenGL SI. I don't think it is likely to be VA Linux systems, so what agreements are stopping them?

BTW, these drivers lock my console solid on a TNT1 on an FX mobo, with the 0kb video ram thing. I've got all the devices set up and everything. Anyway, I gave up and a Matrox g400 is in the post to me right now.... should tide me over till Radeon256 or G800 with nice XF4.0 drivers is out...

I have added the latest UT patch ... when I run the game, I get the nice splash screen and then it exits with a "Signal: SIGIOT [iot trap]" PLEASE HELP!

thanks,
