Hyperion Software Porting SiN

March 6th, 2000 by Crusader

Hyperion Software, who is also porting the LithTech 3D engine, has announced that they will be porting Ritual Entertainment’s near-future first-person shooter SiN to Linux. As SiN was released for Win32 systems in the fall of 1998, the press release mentions the “relatively low system requirements” as a selling point when compared to more recent games in the genre.

I can’t wait for this. I played a good big of SiN under Windows and I thought it was a lot of fun. Old Man Murray gave it a hard time, but that’s ok. :^)

I bought the game cause Ritual said they were going to port to Linux. I hope that the Linux binaries will be available to those of us who bought the Windows version (I’m not going to buy it twice…)
