    Yeah, it’s time to stop all those damned copyright infringement facilitators. And look, I’m sure I saw a project on sourceforge using “Scroll” in its name, let’s shut down those freaking hippies for good.

    Now seriously, in the history of the US, even as an outsider, I can tell there have been companies doing some activity as a façade and then just suing other companies for copyright infringement. That is, people registering a lot of domains, putting some artwork, waiting years and then finally suing some company as soon as they spot something that looked like their materials. One of those guys got arrested a few months ago, but I guess this is going to become the national business. It would be stupid not to take advantage of that.

    The idea with long time copyright and patents are just dangerous for progress, a patent shouldn’t be valid more than max 3 years and a copyright should hold real value after 5 years, I’m sure we would see a lot progress and a lot less lawers that way and everyone would benefit a lot more.
