Overgrowth Playable
April 18th, 2011 by CrusaderRock, Paper, Shotgun recently pointed out that Wolfire Games’ upcoming rabbit fighting game Overgrowth is now playable, as evidenced by this latest alpha update:
- Material hardness affects falling damage
- Ragdoll damage based on location (head and neck hurt extra)
- New ice sound effects
- Slippery movement on ice
- New attacks: knee strike, roundhouse, jab, right cross
- Exposed music playback to script
- Config toggle for music
- Camera restriction cone
- Characters go limp when dead
Thee alpha releases are available for pre-ordering customers.
Edit: Unfortunately, as SlickMcRunFast pointed out in the comments, Linux pre-order builds aren’t available yet:
The blocker right now is Awesomium and the devs seem like they are too busy for Linux. http://support.awesomium.com/discussions/problems/10-does-awesomium-supports-linux-platform
