Oil Rush Pre-Ordering Begins

March 3rd, 2011 by Crusader

I’m a bit late to the party, but Unigine has announced that their upcoming naval-themed real-time strategy game Oil Rush is now available for pre-ordering. Announcement after the jump:

Hurray, the game is finally available for pre-ordering online! All aboard!

Pre-order price is $19.95 (approx. 14.5 EUR). Supported payment methods are credit cards, PayPal, Webmoney and wire transfer.

Why pre-order?
* Early access to game builds
* Direct contribution to the indie developer
* Early access to exlusive game-related materials

All users who will made a pre-order will get a January build of Oil Rush with a number of maps for a skirmish vs AI or multiplayer game over LAN. You’ll also get updated builds as soon as they will be available.

We will also keep you posted on pre-order statistics of platform / country distribution when there will be enough data.

The sad news is that the release date is moved to June in order to complete the balanced and polished single player campaign.

preordered and had a bit of fun.
U will need openal installed in 32bit library(for 64 bit computers, typically it comes in package for 32 bit emulation)

Not bad, 640×480 window everything low what I can’t turn off, my ATI 3300 gets 20-30fps.

I think it is time to upgrade…

Bah, I use the windowed version so I can play it while doing other things. But I’ve failed to reach the maxlevel, since I really needed to sleep, and the saved game didn’t work, and when I put my troops in a way I would not be swiped from the field while doing a 3.5 hour nap, I failed to survive that :-(.

Wowie .. I guess I don’t even need to bother with my ati 3200 then
