The key of survival in the devastated world is to keep forcing the high-paced advancement of military technologies never ceasing to introduce new types of combat units. In these harsh and cruel times, oil is thicker than blood.

High-End Graphics

Strategy game has never been so impressingly photo-realistic, especially considering moderate hardware requirements: the game runs smoothly on middle-end PC and PS3. The visual excellence of OilRush is powered by top-notch render of Unigine engine allowing tons of special effects.

OilRush catches the eye with huge battles, massive explosions and burning wrecks in swirling waters as the sky is streaked with fiery traces of dashing missiles. Ultimately devastating nukes look even more spectacular bringing death to the rest of humanity.

Native Linux Support

Cross-platform Unigine engine enables native Linux version of OilRush filling the gap in modern games available for this platform. Linux version of the game will be released simultaneously with Windows one.
Strategy on Console

OilRush provides console-friendly interface bringing an enticing experience of strategy game to PlayStation 3 users. Despite the ease of controls, the game thrills with blood-boiling dynamics and demand all of your strategic skills.

“We have already shown graphical excellence of our Unigine engine with Heaven benchmark and now we want to showcase flexibility and scalability of our technologies by making a great-looking game with moderate hardware requirements. Moreover, it’s very useful for an engine provider to use its own technology: this way we are confident that we deliver to our customers exactly what they need in order to create awesome games. Besides the technology, we want to introduce a dynamic strategy game, especially for platforms lacking this genre: Linux and PS3″, commented Denis Shergin, CEO of Unigine Corp.

Release Plans

At the moment the game is at the end of production stage: release on Windows and Linux is planned for Q4 2010. OilRush will be distributed digitally on PC and PSN.

I doubt my ATi3300 will cut it, so as soon as I see a recommended graphics card I can upgrade and buy the game. I was waiting for Rage, but this should be worth it.

Still, Im deeply fall in the RTS genre this year and probably after because I met “Kernel Panic” (for which I even create a Chinese introduction via Scribus, a preview image uploaded to: http://imagebin.ca/view/vA0j6Eb.html )
