An Apology

June 12th, 2010 by Crusader

Hey all,

First off, I’d like to thank all of our readers, past and current. Without you, we wouldn’t be here!

Anyhow, in the past 12 years or so I’ve been an editor at LinuxGames, there’ve been several lengthy hiatuses, pauses, and gaps in my posting coverage. For the past couple months, there’s been another, obviously for much longer than I would have liked. For that I’m sorry.

I’m going to be trying to catch up over the next few days, but in the meantime, please let me know (e-mail or comments below) about anything we haven’t mentioned yet that you’d like to see posted here.

Thanks again,

-Crusader

No apology necessary as far as I’m concerned ;)
I know from personal experience this stuff takes way more time then many people realize, I’m very grateful for this resource (as I know many others are too)! Despite occasional lags in updates I still usually catch news here before anywhere else.

    Many thanks Crusader :D

As WHITeRaBBIT said, you are providing a service by keeping this weblog. You are giving something positive to the Linux community, and I don’t think that anyone in the Linux community is going to be a whining maggot because you don’t constantly deliver new content. I mean, you have a life, I assume.

[PS: I hear rumor that the crApple community gets all whiny if some crApple content provider isn't constantly providing content]

We’re Linux users, and, for the most part, we appreciate any decent Linux content that someone, like yourself, provides.

How about posting info on the canceling of 64 bit Flash plug-ins. Then post some info for people about Summoning Wars. Its a great Diablo type clone for Linux that is Open Source.

No need to apologise. I’ve frequented here for years just to see what’s going on the Linux games world and have found many a game here I have registered/bought/donated/downloaded which I might not have otherwise. I understand real life issues. I’m guilty too :-/
