2 of my friends and I use 1.1.x (apt-getable in 9.04 and 9.10) for NWN and I run the server on a sheevaplug, works great (top uses more CPU with 3 users). For basic setup I only had to change port and password, but it has a lot more options for larger setups. I am not sure if 1.2.x is as simple but soon as 10.04 comes out I will be upgrading.

Basically all of my friends use Mumble nowadays. For us it replaced TS or Vent for quite some time now, which makes about 10-20 users on two servers who use Mumble instead.
Mumble is a nice peace of work and even if it may still lack a few features compared to the others, it already replaced them completely.

I got my WoW Guild on Mumble a while ago.. Has a much better user management system than Teamspeak and you don’t have to rent or hack a Ventrillo server if you want more than 8 users on the server.

The Linux gaming group I belong to only uses Mumble. I just wish positional audio was easy to get working if it does work at all.
