Zero Ballistics will be released for FREE in 2010?

January 31st, 2010 by Marv

A post on the Zero Ballistics forums has been posted asking how interested people would be in a free release of Zero Ballistics and what I believe is them stating they will release the game for free also. For people who do not know Zero Ballistics is a game that is a blend of first person shooter and tank combat, focusing on multiplayer gaming exclusively. You can check out the beta if you want to get a better feel for the game.

“Being released for free” is nowhere as good news as “being released as a free software”. One of the choices in the voting (Awesome! I’d like to take part in the further development) suggests the latter (or at least open source), which would really be great, but I’d like to have something more informative and proved than a random forum post with a voting as a source for linuxgames.com news.

The game is pretty fun, but incomplete.
