Irukandji
December 17th, 2009 by CrusaderCharlie’s Games has released Irukandji for Linux:
Irukandji is a fun score attack shooter, set in an abstract underwater trench. You fly your ship against the flow of hundreds of amazing procedurally animated sea monsters, blasting your way to the final showdown – a Giant Enemy Crab!
A free demo version is available for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux operating systems. The full version costs just a small $1+ donation, and entitles you to a copy for each platform.
Charlie is also porting his other games to Linux!

ATM, BlitzMax apps use OSS by default. You probably won’t hear sound if any other audio app is launched.
But there is a good workaround :
use “padsp ./irukandji” to forward OSS output to pulse. Works perfectly. You may need to install a “pulseaudio-utils” package.
