NAE, a 2D space trading and combat game similar vein to Escape Velocity has released a new beta version of their game. The latest release includes the following:

• Completely rewritten equipment system
• Non-player ships are now generated in-game and are much stronger
• Many new systems and planets
• Several new ships and weapons
• New songs and improved graphics
• Active missions are displayed on the HUD
• Equipment affects a ship’s maneouvrability
• Keys are able to be set in-game
