It does look like there is a lot more activity again with this, I found a few old servers I use to play on and they are almost always full. So it's good to see that I was wrong and this is still worth playing!

If you're in Europe i'd recommend having a look at the [?]lulu Servers. They run 5 Gameservers, 1 with Custom Maps, with a regular Session every Friday evening starting at 7:30pm CET. This usually goes until close to midnight. 2 Vanilla ranked and 2 Promod, one of which is ranked.

Also, adding content would be really nice, but it's not going to happen. It seems that SD almost had to fight to get the last patch out, and the way the console ports were abandanoned by the 3rd party porters didn't help either...

Content is nice but the last time I tried to play QW there was nobody on any servers, there are more people playing Savage2 then QW last I checked. My daughter loves Savage2 but if the player base would pick up for QW I know she'd be interested in that also (I originally got her hooked on Tremulous so she loves these team games)

Maybe I'll reinstall QW tonight and see if that has changed recently.

I saw this a few weeks ago from New Egg. Sounds like a good deal for the game if your into it. I have played the demo a few times and didn't really like it all that much. I was a BF2 player for a while (when I had an XP partition) and enjoyed this gameplay much more then ETQW.
