Doom 4 Announced

I’m hoping the “on Earth” reference means this will be an adaptation of DOOM II: Hell on Earth, much as Doom 3 was an adaptation of the original DOOM storyline. In any case, I’m guessing we’ll get a tad more information on the project at QuakeCon, but the game is probably at least several years away.

    ID Software is so behind the times in quality and satisfaction. They should go back to building spaceships in Armadillo to put Louis Armstrong back on the moon. Then NASA can direct its simulation equipment to completing Duke Nukem Forever.

    OK, joking aside; the market wants terrorism sleuth-type themes. It’d be cool to see a
    ID Software get together with PrisonPlanet’s Alex Jones to put some of their fact into fiction just for the tongue-in-cheek irony of it. They would get a story with documentation to adapt to a flawless engine, and access to people of oustanding character for a realistic de-ja-vu mentality through the game. Jesse Ventura and Willie Nelson hang over at NFOWARS.COM.
