It would appear that I need to order more memory… discovered that 512 MB is not a smart thing to do for this game. Ok, so I didn’t check out the system specs until after it had issues with the memory. ;-)

The relevant parts:

Minimum:
Processor – 2.2Ghz P4 or faster
AMD 2000+ or faster
RAM – 1 Gb of ram
Video Card – 128Mb Geforce or Radeon
Network Connection Required

We strongly advise players to use components closer to the recommended system requirements. While the game will function with these minimum requirements it will have significantly poorer performance than the recommended requirements.

Recommended:
Processor – 2.0ghz Core 2 duo / AMD 3500+ or faster
RAM – 1.5 Gb or higher
Video Card – 256Mb Geforce 7800+ or Radeon x1900+
Network Connection Required (Broadband)

The first Savage was a great game for linux. I am downloading the demo now, but I am pretty sure I will buy it… Really seems like a great deal for just under 30 bucks.
