Here’s something I haven’t noticed before: OpenFracas is an free software version of the popular board game Risk (thanks Free Gamer). While still in an early development period, the game currently features:

• An animated, customizable, resizable game board.
• Teams can be created when starting a new game.
• End-of-game dialogue displays statistics and a timeline.
• Basic map creator.
• Default maps are included: Europe, Risk
• Supports up to 6 players, Human or AI
