GemRB 0.3.0
February 27th, 2008 by CrusaderGemRB version 0.3.0 has been announced; the project is an open source clone of BioWare’s Infinity Engine, which was used in many classic computer role-playing games. New features include:
- TLK override handling (custom biographies and map notes)
- weapon immunities
- party AI
- expansion playmode
- more actions, triggers and effects
- loading of projectile explosion animations
- kit information window
- improved sound (now perfect!), character generation, opcodes, character record window, pathfinding, tooltip delay and lotsa bugfixes
It’s also noted that while there’s still a bit of missing functionality, Baldur’s Gate 2 in particular is playable. As for myself, I’m interested in finally being able to give Planescape: Torment a spin, having owned it without taking it out of the CD case for several years now :(

If you can make the games run, it’d be cool if you provided screens and or video material =) GemRB’s wiki collects both of these http://linux.prinas.si/gemrb/doku.php#screenshots_and_videos
