Battlefront.com has announced that DropTeam, a real-time tactical sim developed by TBG Software, now retails in their online store for $20 US:

To warm up the cold winter a bit, we’re dropping the price for DropTeam immediately! You can now save a whopping $15 off of the original release price across all delivery options!

DropTeam, set on various other worlds in the far future, includes single player against AI opponents, a multiplayer mode with up to 16 players, and a detailed damage system.

    Wow, cool. I was going to check out this game when it first came out — but I completely forgot about it. Reading the description this game seems very, very cool. I like the big map games (like old Tribes1/2 used to be). I’m gonna download the demo and check this bad boy out. If I like what I see, then I’ll pick up a copy real soon. 20 bucks for a game with a damage system that cool sounds like a total steal. That, and hey, ain’t nothing wrong with supporting linux games.
